CALL for ENTRY

When we say “Moe(萌え)!”what are we really saying? It‘s all about those small, cute things that make our hearts flutter, as if they might break if not held gently. ”Moe,“ a word born from otaku culture, is elusive, hard to define, yet widely used, and has become a modern myth in society. Perhaps you have a piece of art that makes you feel “moe”? The exhibition “Maybe, Moe Myth...” invites artists to showcase their definitions of “Moe.”

To Submit:

• Artists must be 18 years old or older.

• Submissions must be original works created by the artist, can be created with any medium (illustration , design, photography, etc.).

• AI-generated works are not accepted.

Instructions:

For 2-D Works (Graphic design, digital painting, images, etc): Please send JPG,PNG (>300 dpi) or MP4 to our email. Once selected, Comiga will be responsible for printing and presentation.

For 3-D Works (Sculptures, installations, etc.): To ensure timely shipping, please send photos and measurements of the works to our email by March 12th. (If presenting 3D works only through photos or videos rather than physical objects, please refer to the process for 2D works.) Once selected, Comiga will further communicate regarding the shipping of the works. We welcome artists in the New York area to schedule an appointment for drop-off!

• Brief description of the work

• Medium/Size(if applicable)/Year of creation

• Personal website or social media (if applicable)
