Hóng Bāo! The Red Envelope art exhibition

Join us at Comiga's first onsite exhibition "Hóng Bāo!" in celebration of the Chinese New Year! We extend an invitation to visual artists worldwide to craft visual works utilizing red envelopes, symbolizing prosperity and good luck in Asian culture. Artists have the freedom to choose materials and express themselves through paintings, collages, and more on the red envelopes, with no limitations on theme and style.

To Submit:

• Artists must be 18 years old or older.

• Submissions must be the artist's own work. There are no limitations on the medium of creation (illustration, animation, sculpture, etc.). Work should be presented in the form of images with a resolution of DPI > 300.

• AI-generated works are not accepted.

• Each person can submit 1-2 artworks, with dimensions not exceeding the regular red envelope size.

• This call is limited to 2D artworks, which are created on the front side of the red envelope.

• Deadline of submission: January 26th (Beijing time) for artists from China; Feburary 6th (EST) for artists oversea. Results will be notified by December 27 st.
